Food and service was good, hardest part was booking a table. Phoned three times trying to get through - twice it rang for over half an hour before I gave up, and the final time I hung on in there nearly an hour listening to the same recorded message that someone will be with me soon, late on a Friday evening, before someone finally answered! It really shouldn't be that hard to book a Moules Frites!
Breathtakingly beautiful views to wake up to in the morning. Friendly and professional staff. Breakfast was a wide selection to choose from. Looking forward to returning soon when the Brownsea islands ferry returns. Thank you for a lovely experience.
Went for a work Xmas do recently. Long delays between courses and the food when it arrived was very lack lustre. Had better for cheaper elsewhere! Meat appeared to be reconstituted turkey, no excuse for that. Only three potatoes each (they're not expensive!!) and one very small pig in blanket. Decorations were limited and it got very hot with the amount of people they packed in, felt squashed. Toilets were blocked.
Friends organised my baby shower here! We had a lovely afternoon tea, and the venue catered for the various awkward dietary requirements in the group much better than other places we've been: no one felt short-changed. The cakes and scones were delicious.
Staff very friendly and helpful. food excellent Hotel very nice decor and clean. only downside is that it's not very clear on parking notice board that if your visiting hotel for lunch you don't have to pay for parking, you give your car registration to the reception. Will differently visit again and recommend to family and friends.
