Went to a family wedding at Hotel du Vin and had a great time. Staff were really organised and friendly and the function room was nicely laid out for the service and the meal. The food was excellent and the waiting staff were top notch, nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommended
Fabulous food, fabulous staff, fabulous bed, fabulous shower...... needed oxygen getting to the room but a workout up the steps can only be good for you.
We used this Hotel as a wedding venue and it was a lovely place. The staff were brilliant. Very helpful. Food fantastic. Would highly recommend.
Very nice food. Staff attentive. Just be aware if you choose the Apple Charlotte for dessert it takes 20 minute and my guests were not amused!!!
Slightly disappointed. It has been a while since we have visited a HdV and found the evening menu a bit lack lustre in choice. Don't get me wrong the food was excellent, just not terribly interesting. The room was wonderful as always.A hearty breakfast is on offer though the portion size is quite large. We had crab and scrambled eggs, delicious and very filling. My partner opted for the open omelette with smoked haddock, this came in a large hot skillet, again very delicious. This is also included in the lunch menu. Perhaps a slightly smaller size would be more appropriate for breakfast.
