I organised a late Christmas party for about 20 people, all went well, staff were friendly & cheerful and food and service was good.
Love this pub, bar staff are always really friendly, beer is good, can sit inside or outside and set in old town Poole so a very old feel to it. Food is good, and always well presented.
Convenient Poole town centre location. Staff are friendly and amenities generally good. Could do with a make over.
We ordered the SHARING NACHOS meal. Asked if it was enough for two and was assured it was. When it arrived it was barely enough for one person. Plus they had used the end of the bag of nachos as we got a plate of small bits.
Very well situated for Poole Quay. Superior double was spacious and well maintained. Night time noise from pubs and clubs; didn't bother me, but could be a problem. No fan available for room with temperatures approaching 30 degrees. Pleasant staff. Food usual pub fayre at reasonable prices. Very close to town circular bus stop to easily access main Poole shopping and entertainment area.
