My daughter has just given birth on the ante-Natal ward we felt that she was just left to get on with it hardly saw anyone no updates etc. Delivery staff were fantastic can not fault them. She is now on post-natal ward found the staff very abrupt and rude all in all not a very good experience.

My daughter had three c sections here wonderful dedicated staff thank you all from all our families. My son in law had a ankle opp a few days before and couldn't walk without crutches the staff were so helpful and kind to them both and the operation was a complete success it's a shame when other people don't appreciate the hard work all the staff do and try to blame the NHS . Some people don't listen to the good advice given and get into a pickle .

Its always bitter to leave negative feedback about an NHS operated facility, as I appreciate how under staffed and over worked they are. However!! Having only heard positive feedback about this place I felt quite confident about my planned c section and stay. The surgery itself went well and quick - my scar was stitched up beautifully and baby was delivered safely and in a relaxed environment - good stuff! But they want c section patients out within 24 hours, they have very little time for each patient which meant whenever I asked for pain relief (which you need!!) Id sometimes wait up to two hours until I got it. I was in so much pain I couldnt walk and barely speak, however when they forced me to go to the toilet assisted by a nurse, I felt rushed and ridiculed - and then the nurse left me helpless in the bathroom where I ended up having a panic attack because I couldnt get out on my own. Once I got out, the nurse had actually just walked away!! Very disappointed and although I believe I needed much more monitoring and time in hospital I demanded to get discharged just to get out of there!

After a very stressful pregnancy in the last 20 weeks. They midwives did all they could to make the labour as stress free and relaxed as they could for my wife and myself, even knowing the journey that lay ahead the experience was still made to be a really good one. I hope they Keep Poole maternity open and listen to the public.

Amazing work by staff to make my partner as comfortable as possible. Very patient and on the ball she things may not go ad planned. I'm not with my partner now but if ever I were to have a child with another partner I'd be content and relaxed of my new partner were to have her baby delivered here. Keep up the good work guys you all deserve a medal.
