I had been looking for a specific Volvo model locally to no avail, so widened my search. MTC had one so I gave Sam a call. I was rather nervous about buying a car unseen and located 100 miles away but the whole process was fantastic from beginning to end! He talk me through every stage and helped organise finance etc. The car exceeded my expectations and I could not be happier. Sam was patient and answered all my questions. I couldn't recommend these guys enough, great service from beginning to end.
I purchased an advertised Range Rover Vogue from a private motor trader (Moordown Trade Centre), dealing with Marc Lee Smith. The vehicle was advertised as a very clean, start and go vehicle. One issue was reported that the vehicle overheats and the problem could be related to a water pump or radiator or head gasket. During a text message conversation with the owner I was informed that the vehicle has 3 previous owners and is hpi clear. The vehicle on arrival however was very far from the advertisement and the descriptive communication with the owner. 1. The battery was not working therefore the car did not start. 2. The car has been previously re-sprayed with a very poor, cowboy repair job. The filler is visible, the paint is flaking and can immediately be felt upon one touch both at front and rear. This led me to run a hpi check which returned that the vehicle is category D damaged. 3. There was also damage in the following areas: both side steps broken and cracked, the control of air suspension is broken, air suspension light is on on the dashboard, centre console is broken, electric windows do not work both driver side windows, engine oil is leaking, two illegal rear tyres, sunroof is not working properly, side light is broken, rear parcel shelf is missing, boot does not close properly, no spare tyre, on first glance the chassis requires welding. It is possible further issues may be found once a vehicle is placed on a ramp and inspected. 4. The advertised mileage was 89000 however after running a mileage check there was many discrepancies with the national mileage register. This yet another dishonest claim by the owner. 5. Three previous owners were reported in the communication with the owner however the hpi reported five previous owners. It is very clear that this was a complete dishonest transaction, the vehicle description was completely fabrication. Upon finding these issues I telephoned the owner about that above issue and the response was to start swearing and insulting me, followed by hanging the phone up. I tried to call back but he refused to take my calls. Avoid at all costs, complete utter liars who will go to all lengths to sell you garbage.
These guys are 1st class, we have purchased 2 vehicles from them now, firstly purchased a citroen for our son then recently a Peugeot for ourselves , without a doubt we would buy from them again, very good service and great aftersales service to, highly recommend them, totally trustworthy. Great dealership.
What a great company I purchased a Audi a1 for my wife as it's what she really wanted. I asked them please make sure very safe and sound as my children would be in the car daily. And this is exactly what Mark and Sam did for me.. health checked and lovely throughout everything I asked for I got with in reason of course. I will definitely recommend mtc to my friends and family and look forward to hopefully buying another car for me very soon...
