Samantha has been my hairdresser for many many years and I for one wont go anywhere else, shes very dedicated at attention to detail, extremely professional and friendly. She has my recommendation on both womans and mens hair, she is often very busy but very very worth the wait hence the hectic cue of people... says it all.
Not the cleanest saloon place I ever been by far. I just moved in the area and in a Saturday morning I popped in for a men haircut. I was told they are busy and they are available in the afternoon at 14:40. The hairdresser even made an appoiment on an iPad. At that time my baby was sleeping and I've asked my mum to come over to sit with him as I had an appointment for a haircut and as its my first haircut in thay barber shop I dont want a bad start with them, by not showing up (due to my working times having a haircut during the week is out of conv) I'was back at 2:40 PM as we agreed and she told me I should comeback within an hour as she is busy. I dont know why she thought I had no other better things to do in a Saturday. However I was disappointed and I find this disrespectful. They are not going to see my face ever in their saloon.

Beau Pooks new barber Samantha has been cutting my hair for years . I've never known someone pay as much care and attention to their customers as her. Attention to detail is key in barbering, anyone wanting a bish bash bosh fast shoddy haircut, look elsewhere. Samantha is a perfectionist and is often busy, but well worth waiting for .
Sad to say ive downgraded my review 24/07/18 Previously reviewed at 5 star for Great stylists called terry pook and kirsty forkin, friendly and not judgy with great customer service. Today I lower the rating due to new staff member Samantha and her terrible customer service. I booked appointments for my boys to have their haircut after school today and arrived 5 mins early nearly 10 if you go by the clock on the wall of the salon which is slow. The customer in front of us was just paying after her kids had their cuts and by the time this was done it was time for our appointmens. The hairdresser said she was going to quickly do the walk in that had arrived before us. Yes a walk in with no appointment at the time of our appointments. He had short hair so should have been a quick clip but took over 25 mins and still going when we left as boys were fed up and starting to get silly plus we had to go home to fetch the cat for an emergency vet appointment. As there was no sign of the woman finishing her masterpiece of clipping, combing, spraying, hair drying and repeating which means my sons appointments were getting pushed further back and would mean by the time the first cut was done I'd be hard pushed to get to the vets too. So sadly after 25 minutes we said we had to go. She was enjoying her chat with this man and making a big song and dance of his hair qhich looked finished after 5 minutes, but didn't value the customers who were booked in. Had not popped over to say I'm sorry I won't be long or shown any sign of stopping. So if going I'd recommend everyone to stick with terry and kirsty or run the risk of bad customer service and listening to a lot of drivel.
