Personally I love it here but a family member is an owner so perhaps my review wish unfair. I don't think it's over priced. Location is really good with walking distance to the beach. Plenty for the kids. Spa for the adults is good value....quite happy to be honest
Great caravan site. Bus stop near entrance. Shop and restaurants on site. Short walk to waterside with views of Poole bay. Hamworthy BR is about 20min walk.
Had a nice quiet walk around + a coffee - would be bustling with people if it was summer? Very crisp winter's day though.
Booked the half-term holiday with the grandchildren and all the facilities closed down last week. Brilliant utterly brilliant, whatever happened to people being polite and informative not just money grabbers. Looks like some places only cater for people who live south of Watford
We stayed 2 weeks ago and found the site to be generally excellent with the exception of the chip shop ...The food was disgusting and even our four year old wouldn't eat it and it all had to be binned. They must rely on guests having consumed sufficient alcohol to not notice! On a positive note the reception staff were lovely and gave my son another shiny star balloon when his first one blew away in the wind. The caravan was well laid out and modern but needed cleaning properly. The floor hadn't been mopped and walking in bare feet resulted in black feet! Also we found food bits and hair under the pull-out furniture. I used to be a professional cleaner so maybe just have too high standards! But unfortunately it was just below the minimum standard expected. The oven had only one setting and couldn't be adjusted so burnt everything. The food in the restaurants was great however and the staff very friendly and helpful. They let you take a pizza in and even fetched it for you from Papa John's which was kind. All staff on site were very welcoming and helpful. This is our last holiday before dreaded school holiday extortion hits so we probably won't be able to return and if we did we would be unwilling to pay 100 per night to stay in this caravan although the site was lovely.
