Loved this place, I he owner is a friendly sort and very accommodating, though he likely wont like me saying this. The regulars are quite fun to interact with, much like a Cheers episode, quite surreal. I enjoyed a lock-in, my for and only. I watched the owner kick everyone out but his usuals and my American friend and I. We stayed until about 5 am and very much enjoy ourselves.
A quaint pub serving tasty fish and seafood. Recommend the fish casserole and fish pie.

Had a meal here with 5 other people . We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals . I had scallops with black pudding and bacon lardons followed by fish pie. Both courses were delicious. My husband had skate which he loved . There were so many other dishes I would've chosen so all six of us booked up to go back again soon !
The perfect place to eat fish. The oysters are very good, very fresh. Good quality products.A very nice family team.I never go to Poole without having a stop at the Poole Arms.
