Went for Christmas evening and had a great time. Didn't win though!!
We had such a good night won in total about 20. Definitely do it again
Went with friends for first time. Good atmosphere but food a real let down. Waited a long time for the first course and even longer for second which was not nice at all. We had a Christmas menu but undercooked food which was not at all appetizing. The starter of soup was ok and the dessert was nice but the mains were disgraceful. The ambience was good and the drinks were flowing
After having waited over an hour for our mains to come out, the food was not far off being the quality of something served from a burger van in a car park. The staff were friendly enough but obviously under pressure. The racing was fine, screens were clear and besides the odds not being displayed until after they'd collected bets, it was well announced and managed. Definitely don't go for the Sunday for desert, it's the type that are just plastic cones stored in the freezer then chucked in a glass (with plastic outer) and served.
