Weekend away good size rooms. Very good breakfast buffet style. Plenty of comfy seating. Fire in one room is cosy.
This is a wonderful building with decent facilities. The spa pools, sauna and steam rooms.However our visit was in January and the indoor pool wasn't heated as it was under maintenance. So it was slightly lack luster. But the outdoor hot tub was heated which was quite nice in the cold air.Dinner and breakfast were very good with a nice selection of food. Double deluxe Rooms have fridges, irons and hair dryers if anyone is wondering.
Luxury with a thousand mile view. Great deck ans sun room overlooking the mouth of pool harbor. Old England meets new. Innovative menu . But bring your wallet. Lots of great sitting areas with no pressure and service at your fingertips.
Lovely hotel set in a beautiful area of Dorset with fabulous views. The staff couldn't do enough to make our stay memorable and enjoyable. The room which we had upgraded so that we could have a balcony to watch the vessels going in and out of Poole Harbour, was comfortable and warm.The breakfast was excellent and plentiful. We indulged ourselves by having a meal, which was superb, and the waitress was really knowledgeable about the wine and food
Beautiful views from this charming hotel. Cannot fault the staff, room or breakfast. I recommend this hotel if you need a bit of rest and relaxation away from city life. We dined elsewhere so cannot comment on the restaurant but the hotel was busy which is positive considering it is January. We will be back.
