Not impressed with their vegetarian options: I have only tasted one dish and I genuinely couldn't finish it because I felt stomach discomfort and after leaving the restaurant I felt even worse. Not only the food presentation was not appealing, but the food itself lacked consistency, flavour and I could see that it was probably taken from a frozen bag and microwaved. Also, the cutlery looked dirty. I regret choosing this buffet -restaurant and would gladly go for a Chinese one next time (for a cheap option but better food quality).
Everytime my friend and I have a day out in Poole we eat there. As a vegetarian there is an excellent vegetarian menu, fantastic baked potato with baked beans and cheese. The dessert menu is mouth wateringly awesome but I'm being good at the moment..
Nice food, reasonable prices. We visited around midday, which probably is their busiest time. As they have 3 hot food counters, 1 vegetarian, 1 jackets etc, 1 main meals, probably more to do with the queue being oap's, but the queuing system was very vague and confused. The three counters are very close and people dithering made knowing whether you we in the right line was hard. Then having got food, the queues didn't want to give way to allow you to continue to drinks section in fear they would loose their place.. Previously we have done food later in the day and had no issues, but noon seems too much like chaos really.
Great staff and plenty of home made food. Healthy options too. Love this very busy eatery
Best restaurant in Poole. Always full, great selection, and if you want a proper meal at reasonable cost in the centre of Poole this is " Where you go" children and disabled friendly. Personal recommendation is the steak and ale pie meal, if your lucky enough to get one!
