Open late so a great post office to use after work and friendly!
Definitely the best post office in Poole!! I have been posting at least 10 parcels a week via Royal Mail for at least 10 years. There used to be 4 post offices equidistant from where I live, Seaview, Ashley Road, Poole opposite Primark and Bournemouth Road.The Seaview PO closed over a year ago and have just heard that the Poole branch has closed down. The staff in the Ashley Road branch are some of the rudest people I have ever had the displeasure to meet.There was an elder lady but I am guessing she has retired but she was polite, professional, quick and courteous. Qualities that none of the staff seem to have grasped. And being the main post office in a busy main road it's pathetic that they close at 12.30 on a Saturday whilst opening late.This is a complete contrast to the Post Office at Oakdale. It's a family run business by people who work incredibly hard. It's a newsagent / convenience store and Post Office all in one.Open most days around 5 I think but they also accept parcels from around 7 on a weekday up untill 7!!! This is really handy if you have to be in early or finish late.You can even post things on Sunday with them - as long as the Royal Mail servers have woken up! This is from 9-12.30 I think.There is parking round the back or in front of the shop. Would not hesitate to recommend these really professional , helpful and hardworking people
They are also a convenience shop with food plus wine's spirits and stationary.
Great service at this post office. They also open late, until 7pm, enough time to post items after work in Poole Town centre. I'll be using them all the time.
Always been a helpful family run business. never had any cause to complain. Best post office around.
