The food was very nice. The beer good. The prices reasonable. The decor and outlook are pleasant even on a dull day. And the Staff were helpful and smiley. Nothing to fault!
The lunch meal deal is always worth having. The fish is very fresh and cooked to perfection.We go there every time we visit friends in Poole.
My wife and I visited The Lakeside Restaurant today 8th January, every member of staff we spoke to we're very friendly and polite, the service was impeccable, our meal which we chose was the Lunch special consisting of fish and chips with a number of choices of mushy peas, curry sauce, beans etc was so good it ranks as possible the best we have ever had, piping hot and delicious, and a hot roll and butter. The price was very good too, for a meal of this quality you could happily pay more, well done Lakeside, faultless, plentiful and once again delicious.

Modern, clean, with a responsibly sourced fare. Chips are up there with the best. Nice crispy batter on the fish, and the blue burger is to die for. I make a point of going there every time I visit Poole
