Just ok Good selection but expensive compared to other retailers selling the same items.
Purchased 3 items on saturday morning 27th Oct 2018.Had a mid day Halloween event.Went to use the Liquid/Latex, but found it nearly solid, tried to use it but it came out too stiff to paint on.Phoned the shop to notify them that the product was faulty and was told I could not claim a refund as I had opened it and tried to use it.Pretty sure the sale of goods act says I am entitled to my money back if the product is not fit for purpose. (could not bring it back as had no time left.
I was looking for a Doctor's outfit for my 6yr old daughter. I rang the store in the morning and was told that they had them in stock. I arrived at the store at lunchtime, a lad greeted me and I asked him where such items could be found. He directed me upstairs. I got to the stairs and waited for a young lady member of staff, who was eating her lunch at the time, to finish her descent. She did not give me any eye contact or thanks for waiting for her! I then wandered around trying to find said outfit, but to no avail. Another customer up there was also looking lost and there was no one to help us. Some broken light fittings/blown bulbs did not help the search. I started to go downstairs again to ask for help, but was greeted by lunch eating lady on her way back up. She told me she thought the outfits had sold out, but went over to check and told me that a dentist outfit for 12yr olds was the closest match they had. She quickly went on to finish her lunch. Upon more careful inspection of said area, I managed to find an outfit suitable for the needs of my daughter. Whilst up there, I helped a mum who was looking for a saints outfit for her child! I took my purchase downstairs to the chap at the tills (no name badge, he wears makeup) who was friendly and offered to take the outfit out of it's packaging to see that it was suitable.Not much is needed to turn this review from 2 stars to four or five stars. If sandwich eating lady actually found a smile and tried to gain some rapport or even had the slightest interest in her customers and offered to help more fully, than my experience here would have been transformed.This place is selling fun goods! I have found more cheer in an undertakers then I found here today.
